For those who haven't seen the beautifully done Advent Children and those that would like to buy it, a US release date has been FINALLY stated.
November 29th is now the marked date. Now lets hope there are no more delays or other bullshit. |

In backing up on Manny's post. Yes, Advent Children is simply awesome.
After hearing about this fucking movie two years ago, it FINALLY came into light. Sadly not in the US yet cause for some reason Japan SWEARS anime has no market here but Japan got it and someone here subtitled it. But was this movie worth the wait? Hell fucking yes! It just fucking deliveries!
Those who loved and played Final Fantasy VII, will automatically jerk all over this movie and that is really a gaurentee. So much so they should put it on the case. Besides the Beautifully done CGI, the story is very touching and you actually feel for Cloud. The Action scenes are nothing short of CRAZY! Especially the final battle sequence.
For a hour and 20 minute movie it actually felt like a good satisfying running time. Didn't feel too short or too long. Just like Army of Darkness.
Supposidly its gonna come out in the US sometime this November. But for those who can not wait and don't mind the subtitles, download or get the fansub dvd RIGHT AWAY! I couldn't recommend this movie enough.
There will be a sequel to the movie called Dirge of Cerberus with Vincent Valentine where it takes place a year after. Heard it has nothing to do with Advent Children but we do get to find out more about this bad ass with the 3 barrell gun. And Square-Enix doing a Devil May Cry like game should be very interesting. |
